Graziella's House is an ethno-anthropological museum located in the heart of Terra Murata, the oldest village on Procida, within the Palazzo della Cultura. The exhibition is dedicated to Graziella, the protagonist of Alphonse de Lamartine's famous romantic novel, which is set on the island during her journey in the 19th century.
The museum scenically recreates a typical Procidian home from the period, complete with furnished rooms, household utensils, agricultural tools, and everyday objects from the 19th and 20th centuries. While it is not Graziella's original home, the exhibition serves to immerse visitors in the island's popular culture and its connection to the literary myth that made Procida famous throughout Europe.
