The Serrara Belvedere is one of the most evocative panoramic points in the hilly area of Ischia, located in the municipality of Serrara Fontana. From this elevated position, a wide and sweeping view opens up, encompassing much of the island, from the slopes of Mount Epomeo to the southern coast, with glimpses that on clear days reach as far as the Gulf of Naples and the neighboring islands.
The landscape is dominated by Mediterranean vegetation, agricultural terraces, and the small hilltop villages that characterize this most authentic and tranquil part of the island. The belvedere is particularly popular at sunset, when the light creates stark contrasts between sea and mountains, making the panorama even more spectacular and ideal for photographs.
