The Maronti Viewpoint is one of the most evocative panoramic points on the island of Ischia, located along the road connecting the hilltop villages of Barano with the large Maronti beach. From this natural vantage point, you can admire the entire expanse of the bay, one of the longest on the island, nestled between green hills and volcanic cliffs.
The view is particularly spectacular because it combines sea, nature, and small elements of the Ischian landscape: the coastline opening towards Sant'Angelo, the fumaroles and surrounding thermal baths, and the long sandy beach stretching to the horizon. It is a popular spot for photographs, especially at sunset, when the light enhances the contrasts between the blue sea and the green hills.
