Bagni Regina Giovanna is one of the most enchanting spots on the Sorrento coast, located on the Punta Capo promontory. It is a natural lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs and connected to the sea by a natural arch carved into the rock. The area is renowned for both its scenic beauty and its historical and archaeological value, thanks to the remains of the Roman Villa of Pollio Felice, dating back to the 1st century BC. According to legend, Queen Joanna II of Anjou loved bathing here with her lovers. The site can only be reached on foot via a scenic trail immersed in Mediterranean scrub.
